Plastering Sand (Geosand)
Builder's Sand, also known as Plasterer's, Mason, or Bricklayer's Sand is a finer grade sand with smaller particles. It's often mixed with water and cement to make mortar for laying bricks/blocks.Good plaster sand should be sharp, with a diversity of particle sizes, and clean.Plaster Sand not only can be used to make plaster but it can also be used in a cement/sand/gravel mix to make cement.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Plastering Sand is hard, durable, clean and be free from organic matter etc. and should not contain any appreciable amount of clay balls and harmful impurities such as alkalis, salts, coal, decayed vegetation etc.
Good quality sand should not possess more than 4% of silt content. It should have natural and crushed stone sand. It must be free from organic matter and other dirt particles.There is no silt contents in plastering Sand.This refined (washed) sand has many different uses.
